Here is what we expect you to do….
– Organize, guide, lead, and control:
– the company’s financial-accounting activities in compliance with applicable legal provisions.
– the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements (semi-annual and annual) in accordance with applicable deadlines and regulations.
– the timely preparation of the trial balance in line with legal requirements.
– the consolidation of financial statements.
– the group reporting in accordance with Dutch GAAP and validate group reports.
– the internal and external financial audits in compliance with legal requirements.
– Ensure accurate recording of all financial operations and chronological/systematic bookkeeping supported by proper documentation.
– Maintain an effective internal control framework to ensure governance and minimize business risks.
– Verify and validate tax returns.
– Ensure timely fulfillment of tax obligations toward the state budget and third parties in line with legal requirements.
– Monitor financial-accounting legislation and ensure ongoing compliance.
– Ensure correct document preparation and circulation across the company.
– Maintain compliance with accounting principles and asset valuation standards (prudence, consistency, going concern, etc.).
– Ensure the integrity and efficient management of the company’s entire asset base.
– Conduct general asset inventory at the start of activity, annually, as required by law, or upon request.
– Organize and participate in year-end closing activities and inventory operations.
– Manage special regime documents and ensure compliance with cash handling procedures and cash operational regulations.
– Contact person in relation to tax authorities
– Participate in the preparation of annual budgets.
– Contribute to the business planning process at local and global levels.
– Oversee the implementation of accounting processes using the financial information system.
– Participate in the development of accounting software and coordinate accounting teams for implementation.
– Lead a team of specialists and co-workers to provide Accounting and Reporting activities within a strong compliance framework, provide effective governance to minimise business risk. Whilst achieving the KPIs and OLAs for performance.
– Build and maintain relationships with shared services and key stakeholders to support overall business objectives.
– Ensure collaboration between all parties to meet agreed KPIs, SLAs, and OLAs.
– Participate in global and local projects supporting strategic and operational goals.

- Excellent knowledge of the measurement, processing and communication of financial information regarding economic entities, which aims to document the organizations’ resource management.
- Advanced knowledge of how to assess, analyze and mitigate risks in a business environment.
- Excellent knowledge of how to plan, measure financial records in compliance with internal and external regulations and ensuring value for money in reaching business objectives and long term profitable growth.
- Good understanding of data science, new technologies, analytics and their wide ranging application in business context.
- Advanced knowledge of how to create and implement change initiatives and manage different stakeholders.
- Good knowledge of project management processes including methods and tools and how to integrate them.
- Good knowledge of the customer needs, demands and expectations on the markets.
- Knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles (Local GAAP and Ingka GAAP), internal controls, financial reporting and tax laws;
- Demonstrated ability to perform wide variety of high level accounting, budgeting and financial reporting;
- Experience in use of automated accounting systems;
- Proficient in MS Office skills, ), preferred experience with accounting/reporting systems;
- Experience in multicultural and multinational organization;
- Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English;
- Proven skills in developing people and provide support, coaching, training, and career direction to others.
