Here is what we expect you to do…

  • Identify, engage, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the Ingka Group and externally. Your efforts will ensure their needs and concerns are actively addressed.
  • Create and disseminate clear, informative content tailored to various stakeholders, enhancing understanding and support for forestry initiatives.
  • Actively involve in educating stakeholders about sustainable forestry practices, acting as an ambassador for Ingka’s forestry operations. Your role will include raising awareness and promoting environmental stewardship through various educational programs.
  • Develop and run programs that involve stakeholders in meaningful ways, enhancing their engagement and contribution to our forestry operations.
  • Demonstrate the capability to translate stakeholder needs into actionable and strategic plans. Your innovative thinking should help adapt strategies to changing environmental, social, and regulatory scenarios within Romania and the broader EU context.
  • Work across functions within Ingka Investments Romania and maintain good collaboration with other Ingka Group businesses, ensuring cohesive operations and strategic alignment.

  • Possess the ability to build strong and trustful relationships at various levels, both internally and externally.
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in Romanian and English, capable of creating impactful content such as presentations, reports, informational materials or stories tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams, prioritizing tasks and delegating effectively.
  • Skills in crafting stories and narratives that convey the essence and impact of our forestry operations to a broad audience, including those not familiar with forestry practices.
    In addition, you possess extensive leadership experience within large international structures and demonstrate a strong ability to prioritize, provide clear directions, and multitask effectively. You thrive both in teamwork and independent scenarios. Your leadership is driven by a passion for co-creation with colleagues and other Ingka units, as well as a commitment to finding innovative ways of working and staying adaptable to change.
  • A good understanding of how forestry is perceived at the market level, including awareness of public, corporate, and governmental attitudes towards forestry initiatives.
  • Proficient knowledge of different communication channels that can facilitate stakeholder engagement, including digital media, public forums, industry conferences, and direct stakeholder meetings. This includes selecting the most effective mediums for reaching specific audiences and achieving engagement objectives.

  • You are also a good communicator, you think outside the box, you take initiative and have a high drive and motivation with a positive attitude, you are curious and open for a continuously changing environment with many different stakeholders and demands. You take ownership of your deliverables. You appreciate the mix of strategic thinking and turning communication theory into practice.
